OK, you guys may or may not (say, if you’re noob like Corinne) heard of the movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging{http://www.angusthongsmovie.com/intl/uk/}, you have? Oh goody. Well this movie was based on a book, do you know what that book was called?
Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal snogging. (No, I do not know why they changed the name). This book is part of a series, Confessions of Georgia Nicholson. We all up to speed? OK.
This series currently has nine books:
Angus Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging
It’s OK, I’m wearing really big knickers (In USA, ‘On The Bright Side, I’m Now The Girlfriend Of A Sex God’)
Knocked out by my nunga-nungas
Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants.
…And That’s When it Fell Off in my Hand (In USA, ‘Away Laughing on a Fast Camel’)
…Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers
Startled by his furry shorts
Luuurve is a Many Trousered Thing (In USA, ‘Love is a Many Trousered Thing’)
Stop in the Name of Pants!
Anyways, so reading the Confession books, I discovered a whole new way of life. Seriously, her vocabulary alone is completely out there. I leant Corinne one of the books durig roll call last week, and she couldn’t understand half of it (:L). Sure the books have the occasional “sheer bonkerosity” or “red-bottomosity”, but they are VERY good, and worth the read. Here, I’ll be mean/cool, and give you guys a teaser of ‘Dancing in My Nuddy Pants’ (opening paragraph):
“I’ve just seen a sparrow quite literally washed off its perch on a tree. It should have had its umbrella up. But even if it had had its umbrella up, it might have slipped on a wet leaf and crashed into a passing squirrel. That’s what life is like. Well, that’s what my life is like.”
Look, ok, I'm at camp and I have nothing else to post about :P
