People

Banana Boy,
You know those people who walk around all dreary, and then they smile, and their face lights up? It's like, you can see a little part of their soul in that smile. You're one of those people.
But you smile everytime you catch my eye, because we've always just joked around together, usually about bananas and watermelon. Part of me wants to talk to you just to see that part of your soul, to see you smile when you see me, to be appreciated.
But, you know, I don't even remember your name, that's why I call you banana boy, and I only see you every few weeks. So it's not like we're ever gonna be best buddies.
I just like spending time with you is all. And I like teasing you. Mainly about bananas.
So, come and talk to me, I have plenty to say, and not just about imperial mandarins.

---

Genius,
Geez, don't you have a way of making me feel terrible. My achievements pale in comparison to yours, I'm nothing. You have your whole life sorted out, how can you be so intelligent? It's scary and intimidating. Yet, you have this amazing calm around you. Like people around you can be whoever they want, and you'll be okay with it. Is that because whoever they are, they will never be what you are? They will never be enough? Maybe, you have nothing to fear; you will always be the best. But I don't like being second best, so I'm gonna keep working on me. Starting now.

Away, away.

I guess, today has been one of those days.
Especially work.
Work sucked.
But I'm going to cheer myself up now, by pretending everything's ok.
Anyways, I have to go and eat dinner now.
So you can have some pretty pictures.
That I have maybe used before
But my computer's all jumbled since it's new.
And I don't know what I've used before.
But, yeah, they're good anyways.
So have fun.

work.

Humdigity.
Woke rang me this morning, and asked me to work 1-5.
So I have to leave soon.
And then wen I finish, it is apparently too dark to go home by train.
So I have to wait for my mum to finish.
At 7.
I have to wait around for 2 hours.
And do nothing.
Absolutely nothing at all.

Le sigh.

I am taking hw to do.
But I can't be BOTHERED!!!

Ok, I will stop whinging now.
And go and get ready.
Ready for the worst boredom of my life.

I may just call my sister...
I have $22 to use by tomorrow or else I lose it.
Do you think a 2hr conversation would cost $22??
What about just texting back and forth?

Ok, I'm really stopping whinging now...
(I'm still whinging in my head)

One-way ticket

one - the randomest part wasn't the bananas or the tent pegs...
TWO - I HAVE SOMETHIGN TO TELL YOU BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW
three - it already feels nice to think about...
four - i still miss you

I have this feeling that everyone secretly resents me
I think it's because I've recently found my inner resentment for everyone else.
That sounds bitchy, I'll explain

I'm very one-sided.
I am capable of giving a lot more than I can receive
So I give a lot, and people get sick of taking it because I'm being annoying (or being Ebony, as I like to phrase it)
So then they push me away, if only for a second
And I take everything back and hate them for it.

Damn, I explained this a lot better yesterday.

Vanessa and I were very bored at work yesterday, so we started making a list of "5 Guys I'd Like To Be In An Elevator With". We came up with many more than 5. So we decided it would be a boat. And we would cruise the world. But this means we have to bring "5 Guys I'd Like To Have At My Dinner Table" into it, because of the whole being on a cruise and having a conversation thing.
Here is a very slight snippet of the population of our boat:

Tyson Ritter
Mark Harmon (<33)
George Clooney
Harisson Ford
House
Colin Firth
Matthew McConaughey
Jean-Luc Picard
Antonio Banderas
Brad Pitt
JFK Junior
Harm Rabb (JAG)
Jared Padelecki
Milo Ventimiglia
Johnny Depp
Orlando Bloom
Dick Van Dyke

Cory's eyes are like a jungle, he smile's it's like the radio
He whispers words into my window in words that nobody knows
There's pretty girls on every corner, they watch him as he's walking home
Saying "does he know?" Will you ever know?

You're beautiful, every little piece, love
Don't you know? You're really gonna be someone
Ask anyone
When you find everything you've looked for
I hope your life leads you back tomy door
Oh, but if it don't
Stay beautiful

Cory finds another way to be the highlight of my day
I'm taking pictures in my mind so I can save them for a rainy day
It's hard to make conversation when he's taking my breath away
I should say "hey, by the way..."

You're beautiful, ever little piece love
Don't you know? You're really gonna be someone
Ask anyone
When you find everything you've looked for
I hope for life leads you back to my door
Oh but if it don't,
Stay beautiful

If you and I are a story that never gets told
If what you are is a daydream, I never get to hold
At least you'll know..

You're beautiful, every little piece love
Don't you know? You're really gonna be someone
Ask anyone
And when you find every thing you've looked for
I hope your life leads you back to my front door
Oh, but if it don't, will you stay...
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful,
La la la
Oh, oh oh oh,
Oh, but if it don't
Stay beautiful
Stay beautiful

Ladies and gentlemen (mainly ladies though), this is Sean Faris.

Clearly, I have too much to say

I have news.
No, really. I am not just blogging for the sake of it; I actually have something to say today.
I filled my entire memoir account!!
I know, I find it incredible myself.
I wrote 512 memoirs.
That’s, like, 3072 words. (I knew the calculator on the computer was good for something)
It’s exciting, isn’t it? I think so too.
Although, when you think about it, lots of them end up getting stuffed, so it’s only about, 503 memoirs. But that’s okay, because it’s still pretty damn good.

Yeah now I have nothing to say.
La di lah.
Hmm…

Oh wells, I have to get ready for work.

I’ll see you under the moon

PS: I’ll explain that one day I promise
PPS: I bought my creating connections kiddies lollies today!! Oh, I’m so generous. :)
PPPS: I got a haircut today!! Now it’s all awesome and not so annoying
PPPPS: I’m rinsing it black sometime this weekend too, because, well, I’m cool. :P

Happy birthday Jesus.

Well, Merry Christmas everyone.
I know Christmas Day is tomorrow and all…
But people have been wishing me a Merry Christmas all day, so I thought I’d share the Christmas Joy with you guys.
You know, I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy about Christmas. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy in general. I’ve learnt to appreciate the little things, you see.

You know, if you smile at random strangers (or just in their direction) they smile back. And then you’re even happier because a random stranger smiled at you. People are a lot nicer than I give them credit for. Or maybe it’s just the Christmas Spirit getting to everyone… Either way, it’s so nice.

People keep going on about how much Christmas sucks because there’s all this hype and all this money spent for only a day of celebration, and how it’s not worth it and stuff. But you know what? They’re wrong. Because Christmas is so awesome (AND, I get more work, so more money $D), people randomly say ‘Merry Christmas’ and they do more for each other.

Shevy: “Don’t listen to them, they just can’t afford Christmas, so they don’t get it”

You know, working at Coles is so strange. Because half the time people are real shits to each other (remember, Mac Fields), they scream at each other, and tell each other off. And then they’ll do something nice, like, give a little boy 20c cuz he can’t afford his drink. Or let a pregnant woman go in front of them. And old people are awesome, they’re always so nice to everyone.

I think I smiled at everyone I saw today. People in line waiting for train tickets (because the machine in the ticket window was out at 7:30), both my bus drivers, all my customers, random people walking past, everyone! Most of them smiled back too, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy :)
Okay, my Dad just showed me my Uncle's bday card, and I'm gonna share with you what it said.
Person 1: "It's windy today"
Person 2:"No, it's Thursday"
Person 3:"So am I, let's have a beer"
ROFL!!
Anyways...
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
My mum will kill me if I get on my comp tomorrow, so I shall say it today.
Just reread my blog tomorrow?? :L
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Reasons why Coles should not have employed me

Ok, so, yesterday, at work, I had one of those days.

No really, it was awful.

You see, I have been steadily getting tireder and tireder for the past month.
I keep missing out on sleep, and I just haven't had time to catch up yet.
I have HUGE bags under my eyes, which I can barely keep open, and I can't walk in straight line.
No, seriously, when walking on the footpath, I keep falling off. I don't know how I keep doing this because it is a footpath, but regardless, I keep falling off it.

So, getting back to yesterday.
Who wants to hear a story?
Good.

You see, it all started when my bus ran late. I know, how cruel. Then again, shame on me for relying on public transport. The thing about my bus being late, though, is that, you have to run. To get anywhere, you have to run if you re late.

And the thing about my work shoes is that they frown upon running.
You see, they’re still new. And although they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned, they still give me blisters.

Basically, my feet are in a lot of pain right now.

Moving on, I get to work, and I’m told to go opposite mum (silly peoples, I’, not allowed to!) but blahdiblah, she moves. And, I’m all by my little lonesome *tear.

And then it started. I could feel my eyes closing right away, they were just too tired. I kept forgetting to greet customers, or ask for flybuys, or read them what the machine said (macfielders can’t all read, this is very important.)

And then I dropped it. I think it was a soft drink bottle. The first thing I have ever broken. Once I dropped it, it fizzed so much it blew it's lid off (sure, it would have been funny if it wasn't so embarassing).
And then the second thind I've ever broken... it was some kind of fruit or veg, but once I dropped it, it was just a schmeer on the floor.

Of course this is not at all bad, no one got hurt, I cleaned everything up, blahdiblah, all is good. And then I dropped the third thing. (Keep in mind I'm very tired!) You know how you can get glass bottles of ginger beer in sets of 4? Yeah, I dropped one of them. Glass flew everywhere, this is when I started crying. (Leave me alone! I'm sensitive, okay?)

So my supervisor, Leigh, came over and started cleaning it up. And then, she could tell I was really upset, and she told me to take a break, and come back in 10, she was really nice actually. (She's been nice to me ever since the day she thought she'd upset me, I can't even remember what she said, but I don't mind, I like her being nice.)

So yeah.
I suck.
(No really, this blog has no point)

OK, I've found a point (amazing how clever I am, really).

I hate it when people critise how I overreact to everything. You see, for me, crying is no big deal, I mean like, watch a movie lately? I cry pretty much everyday. I know, I probably shouldn;t, especially since I never drink anything, and thus my body loses a lot of water, but I do.

Crying is an outlet. I cry when I'm happy, sad, bored, PMSy, annoyed, embarrassed, laughing too much from something Amy said. And it doesn't always mean there's something wrong. Sometimes I cry because I want to feel vulnerable (I think it's so I feel little again, I don't know).

So, it's not me overreacting, it's just me being me. Deal with it.

(Oh, but I never cry around friends. But that's another story altogether)

My Limits.

well well well
because my mum lacks originality in punishment, i have been banned from my comp
(however im allowed on when home alone, or when everyone else is asleep i.e. now)
So why am I banned? be cause i "dont appreciate my family"... yeah.

But I have nothing to say anyway, I'm just blogging to tell you that I won't be here for a while.
Because my mum sees no limit on punishmentwhen am I allowed back on?When I "learn to appreciate my family"
Mum, when is that? How can I mark that on a calendar?
Basically, when she's in a better mood.
ie. when we haven't recently visited any members of her extended family
i think my cousin's wedding yesterday almost sent her over the edge
and i guess i see her point... her family all hate her
it must be really hard to deal with that

...you know what I realised?
I am sooo melodramatic, it's soo funny!:) I love laughing at myself, because myself won't be hurt like other people, and I can't laugh without laughing at someone
Oooooh, it's all so tragic!! :L:L

Actually, really shit stuff has been hapening all week.
Lots of it is just annoying, but one thing actually hurt me.
Who wants to hear a story??

You: "I do! I do!"

Ok, here goes.
On Tuesday, my Grandfather went to some place that he goes to on Tuesdays. (I can't remember what it is, okay? Sue me!). But he was having a lot of trouble breathing, and couldn't even talk, so they rushed him to hospital. My Dad went to visit him, but I had to work. We found out that he had had a minor stroke. On Wednesday, they found a blockage in an artery in his neck, this is what caused the stroke. If it wan't remived, it would almost definately cause a major stroke, and then would be very likely to cause permanent damage.
Problem was, operation to remove the blockage highly risky, and there was a chance he wouldn't make it out. He didn;t want the surgery. Somehow, my dad and auntys (my uncle is in NZ) managed to convince him to have the surgery. Then people started talking about him as if he coulsn't possibly survive, it was like they were expecting him not to.
It really scared me, hearing people talk about him like that. Like he had no chance. I've never dealt with the prospect of someone dying before. When my grandmother died, it was unexpected, she was meant to come out of hospital the next day, it was the last thing people were expecting.
On Thursday, my grandfather had the surgery, and survived. He's still in intensive care, and for the first 24 hours after surgery, everytime he woke, he got really anxious and worried, and started freaking out. He's okay now, and he can walk around.

I still haven't visited him, although my dad goes everyday, it's always after work, and I haven't been given the chance. I don't know if I would, anyway, because it would scare me too much.

OK, now you've heard my story you forgive me for being a real shit at school all week? And whining about everything, and just randomly staring into space and looking like something is killing me?

You: "Of course I do Ebony, I love you!"

Aww, thankyou :)

Well, now I'm gonna go write/read 6 word memoirs, cuz... I haven't all week, and I'm getitng withdrawals.

Ooooh, big THANKYOU to MayLyn!! Who, during the week, published my meoirs when I couldn;t, you saved my life darling!!! :)

Oh, and I found out which memoir made it into the book.
I'm really annoyed, I don't even llike this one, it's so shitty, it didn't even get featured! It's so bleh... but I'll write it for you guys anyways, cuz I said I would.

Been kissed once. High school dare.

Seriously, it's not even, like, nice. It's just silly.
If IIII had to choose one of my memoirs to go in the book...

Hmm, my most commonly fabourited is "I gave you everything... you left" but I don't like it that much.
"I don't care. Just come home." I like that, sort of. It's like, it's got story to it.
"I'm not special. I'm just me" That's cool. It makes me smile.
"Don't need you. I'll love myself!" I love how stubborn that sounds.
"I think too much about everything" Enough said.

"The stars spell out your name" Reminds me of a song that reminds me of my grandmother, so I like that one, but I'm bias.

"I see beauty in everything ugly" That one gives me hope. Like, light can overcome shadow. (Omgsh, that sounded so hippy :L And still, so deep :))

"You are beautiful. Never forget that." Ngaw, how sweet.

OOOh, I found it!
If I was going to put just ONE of my memoirs in the book, it would be:

I'd catch a star for you.

Mainly because that reminds me of Stardust, thus reminding me of... happiness. But also, because, when I wrote that, Joannie said to me on MSN
""II'd catch a star for you" that's so sweet"
And that made my day! A million times over.
And I KNOW you don't read my blog Joannie, because you suck!
But nevertheless, I'd catch a star for you!!!!!!!!! I would, really! You want a star?? Cuz I'll go find one :)

Oh. My. Gosh.

What is it with me and really long blogs? Remember when they used to be petite??
BUT! I haven;t blogged all week, and you guys were getting withdrawals, yes?

You: *pause*... yes.

I thought so.

Ehh, leaving now, ciao!

I'll see you under the moon!

Finale!

It’s sorta sad that this is the last day of NaBloPoMo. Because I know I won’t have this same dedication later, and I’ll only blog a few times a week. So I’m gonna put everything into this blog. I’ve never done that before. Cuz you know, sometimes you get writers block, and I couldn’t have that during NaBloPoMo, so I always saved some topics for me to talk about another time, just in case. But not anymore. Here goes nothing:

I got my friend into SMITHteens – edyka

OMG. ThrivingViolet favourited me 21 times!! (So what if I counted? She’s one of my idols) And I “Inspired” her!!! OMGSH!!!! How cool is that???

Peoples, and how many times they were favourited by Thriving Violet:

Bryan – 3
Amy – 5
Shai – 2
Me - 21

Peoples, and how many times they were favourited by Coulda.been.a.comet:

Amy – 1

Peoples, and how many times they were favourited by October:

Amy – 1
Bryan – 1
Me – 1

And I’m one of October AND Thriving Violet’s fave writers
OK, so you’ll probs figure out who I am by now…
But that’s okay, I think I can live with that.

Oh my gosh, at work yesterday, they made me serve BY MYSELF. :O:O
Like, they let me loose on the public, I had no buddy.

I got there and they’re like “Have you ever served by yourself before?” Me: “No…” and they’re like “Have you ever served at all?” And I’m like “For two hours” and then they just said “Go on the register opposite Logan then” (he’s the dude who ran multicultural day performances)

So then I served by myself. And I stuffed up soo much. Like, I kept scanning stuff a gazillion times, and far out! Our stupid system doesn’t have red grapes! How can it not have red grapes?? My first customer had red grapes, and I had no idea what to do!

And some guy stole a passionfruit! Seriously, he put 3 passionfruits on the counter. I served him. And as he walked away, I saw he had another one in his hand. Like what the hell?? What does it cost, $2??? How could he not pay me for the bloody passionfruit?? Far out!
And then at the end, I had to a clearance and a spot balance, and I’m like wth is that??

But I survived! And I had fun! And I had some really cool customers. Like these firemen that payed with only $1/$2 coins. And it was like, $26! And this old guy who was really nice. And then later he went up and complimented me, so now my boss is really happy with me. And like, 10 people asked me why my name is Ebony. So I told them my mummy saw it on TV when she was pregnant. (:L)

So yeah, that was work yesterday. Oh, and Logan left an hour before me, and then I was all by myself : And I STILL survived! :):)

OK, so here’s one of the blogsecrets I was talking about the other day:

I’m at a loss for words. Well, I’m blogging so I guess not really, maybe it’s just that I don’t know how to put it into words, or if even should. Last time this happened I couldn’t sleep for days. So now I’m watching Harry Potter III.

I wish I could use the ‘ridiculous’ spell and turn you into something that I hated, couldn’t stand, didn’t want, wasn’t even attracted to. But that’s my trouble, you are those things. You’re arrogant, unfaithful, chauvinistic.

Everything I hate about men in general. Yet I look past it for ten quick minutes, then go back to hating you. Just so you know.

Yes, it’s a short one compared to some of the others. But I figure if we start small, you’ll be more likely to read it.

I feel like putting some crazy on this.OMGSH! I don’t have any crazy on my computer. I’ve never run out before. : How can I live without my crazy???

Poem:

A brief candle; both ends burning
An endless mile; a bus wheel turning
A friend to share the lonesome times
A handshake and a sip of wine
So say it loud and let it ring
We are all a part of everything
The future, present and the past
Fly on proud bird
You're free at last.

Quotes:
If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time.

Happiness is as a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but which if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.
Remember that as a teenager you are in the last stage of your life when you will be happy to hear the phone is for you.

Yeah, I guess that’s sort of a little bit crazy, no?

And now I’ll go back and add pictures into it. You love my pictures, don't you? :) I'm feeling happier now.

I love reading 6 word memoirs. Especially the happy ones. And then writing emo ones. And then reading more happy ones. It's like, inhaling beauty and exhaling ugly. I'm purging myself of all bad thoughts, so I can make room for the happy in me. Problem is: it can be so hard to find the happy ones, and you have to sift through all the emo ones, and then you even more ugly thoughts in you.

I feel so determined to change everything. To prove how easily happiness can be achieved. I know that I always reread my blogs. Especially when people comment, I'll go back and read the whole thing. I like to cheer myself up for when I reread it. And I like to cheer up my readers. I know how nice it is to read happy blogs. But more than that, I want to be honest. Maybe, by only putting my nice thoughts here, I'm losing the honesty in my blog. Am I? Or is it okay to tell only half the story?

Here's an honest moment:

Everything is about him, just as it shouldn't be, but of course it is. That's how I prioritise; completely out of whack. But, there's some little possibilty that I can see his side of the story; that maybe it doesn't make a difference if he never loved, maybe it changes nothing. I know, I've fooled myself in the past into thinking I like someone, cuz I find out they like me first. And it's not like that changed things for me, is it? Besides, if he never loved me, it means I didn't really hurt him that much, and that certainly eases up the guilt.
And still, it's all about him. I know he ruined me yesterday, I remember how I felt, and yet, I can forgive his so easy? Why am I talking about how he made me feel guilty? Shouldn't it be the other way around? But it's not, because he is still everything.

And back on topic:

Ebony rules!!

Hehe. Me, Amy and Bryan are taking over smithteens :L. So far, 46 memoirs straight, just us 3. It's so cool! And then, like, we're talking on MSN, and not even mentioning it. It's so weird.
Holy shit.

My library of music is on random.
And I just got to Amazed.
It feels like it's puching me. Each beat of music.
My chest is getting weaker and weaker.
And then the pretty music comes in, the violins, and they sounds like they're sawing something, me?
Punching's getting quicker, but not as strong.
Now it's in time with my heartbeat, not the song.

And now, it is finished.
And I'm putting myself back together again.
Jeez, and I used to just feel nauseas.
Ok, I'm sorry about that. It was really freaky. Like... I could feel myself being destroyed by a bloody song.
Ok, and moving on...
I feel like I have a reason to smile.
I don't know what it is.
But I feel it there.
I'm gonna share some more 6 word memoirs. Some of the best. But I'm only using the more unknown authors. The ones that have one-hit wonders. No Bubbles, no soulcages, no October, no coulda.been.a.comet, no esalamy, no J600y, no ThrivingViolet, just the obscures.

Although, by now, I should just move on to lunch.
Anyway!
Farewell readers, who know, I might not post for another 2 days!!! :O:O
Then what will you do??
When you have relied on my blog so much for so long!!
You: Uhhh, yeah.
Oh, it will feel so weird, not to blog. How will you ever survive??
More to the point, how will I ever survive??
But I did it!!
I blogged everyday for a month!!
Sometimes more than once!!
I look forward to taking up the challenge again next year.
Ps: I hope this post adequately ended NaBloPoMo
PPS: It will be so weird, not to tag my blogs with that anymore...

I like colours

I’m back to normal again (I think). I was just soo pissed that I had to blog. I’m scared if I read it again, I’ll get pissed again. Hmm, how weird.

Ok, some random things

Uber uber congratulations to OCTOBER and THRIVINGVIOLET, who wrote sooo many 6 word memoirs, they filled an ENTIRE ACCOUNT, and started new with October (the sequel) and Thriving Violet – continued.
And a little congrats to me, who found myself favourited on 2 peoples profiles today, yay!

++ ive started tagging my blogs.
Ive gone back to the beginning and started adding tags to things, seemed like something I should do, eventually.

I’ve tagged with things like: NaBloPoMo, 6wordmemoirs, friends, family, love, life, etc etc.

Now, I’m sure everyone appreciated all my random thoughts yesterday, and did you guys notice how happy I was?? Yeah, I’m working on getting back to that. Music helps. And distractions (i.e. work, which is where I will be 5-9pm tonight, visit me anyone?)

OK, I don’t know how prominent you guys are in the blogosphere, but just in case you live under some sort of rock, I just thought I’d tell you about BLOGSECRET which took place on November 18 (I would have done it if we weren’t at camp).

The rules were these:

1) Write an anonymous blog post. It could be about anything that is a secret. Work. Family. Affairs. Crimes of the heart. Crimes of the street. Recklessness. Accidents. Hate. Bitching. Whatever it is that you don't want to share on your own blog. Or under your own name.
2) Email Nilsa your submission no later than NOVEMBER 15. In this email, make sure to include the name and http:// address of your blog.
3) On November 16-17, she emails you someone else's post. It will be stripped of all headers, email addresses and other potentially identifying information. She will not reveal the identity of anyone else's submissions.
4) On NOVEMBER 18, you publish the submission sent to you over the weekend- this is someone else's secret- and yours is on someone else's blog.

Quite simple really, just a way to get out your secrets, and it was a huge success, with 79 bloggers participating. Go
here for a full list of participating bloggers, and read through to find the blogsecrets, they’re really raw and emotional, and worth the read.

I’ll probs post some for you guys cuz I know how lazy we all are.

Oh, and here, how cool are these quotes:

I didn't think it was possible to out-queer figure skating, but look out! Here comes ice dancing!

And you can't break a gay man's fingers. Because then how would he sew.

:L:L I found them at Things My Boyfriend Says. And yeah, they’re cool.

So… I know this morning’s blog kinda sucked and all. But that’s what happens when I go all moody, it’s sorta funny really. Hmm, the me of this morning wouldn’t be very happy that I’m laughing at her, would she??

See! I am schitzo.

OK, here are some “hopeful” quotes/song lyrics/random errant thoughts:

Lost my shoes. Found winged sandals. – wolfgirl

When I first met smithteens, that was the first favourited memoir. Even now, it seems so special, because back then, being favourited was such a great honour. I think I missed the beauty in it originally.

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. – Dale CArnegie

That makes you wanna keep trying when you lose hope. I guess that’s something I do a lot, lose hope. I’m so very melodramatic, when something good happens, the world is perfect, and when something goes wrong, suddenly it’s all over.

Fear grows in darkness; if you think there's a bogeyman around, turn on the light. – Dorothy Thompson

It’s such a clever idea, no? Fear representing the unknown, and light being knowledge.

What if, at this very moment, I am living up to my full potential? – Jane Wagner

Now that’s a little scary. Cuz at the moment I’m sorta all moody.

Once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it. – Bill Cosby

Yeah, laughter is the best medicine, and smiles make things happy. Thankyou to everyone who was talking to me this morning, and made me laugh/smile/happy.

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. – Oscar Wilde

Sure, he may be the only reason I look at the stars, but at least I’m dreaming big, right?

Eskimo proverb:
Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Now there’s a beautiful thought. That love really shines that bright. That people we love still exist within us.

You know… it must take so much strength to be atheist. I can’t imagine life, having nothing to believe in. Remember when I posted all those memoirs the first time? And I said I wrote one of them. Yeah well, it was “Sometimes, it helps to have faith”.

There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein

I think maybe life is a miracle. Maybe it really means something.

When things are bad, we take comfort in the thought that they could always be worse. And when they are, we find hope in the thought that things are so bad they have to get better.

I think this morning, I was taking comfort in the fact that things had to get better, and look! They did.

Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but only for one second without hope

With this, I beg to differ. Without hope, one curls up and lets misery eat away at them, but they still survive, even though they would feel better not to.

I'm not crazy, I just believe – melissaaa

Yeah. And believing makes all the difference, doesn't it?

Fly away on my zephyr
I feel it more then ever
And in this perfect weather
We'll find a place together
Fly on my wing

See, you're happier now, huh?

Ebony's a Working Girl Now

ok, so as some of you know, on Thursday, I went fora job interview, and on Friday, I was told I got the job *throws party*. So on Thursday at 5pm, I have my Induction, before then I need a bank account, TFN, uniform, and I have to fill out some papers.

Bank account – on Monday/Tuesday, I caught the train to Livo and was picked up by my mummy + sister, to go to the Commonwealth Bank to get us both bank accounts. I OFFICIALLY have $100, oooh, I am soo cool.

TFN – Yeah, I picked up the forms at school, but never really got around to filling them in. But that’s all right, they have the forms at my work (!!), so I can do them later.

Uniform – My mum/sister/both will pick up my top during the week, whilst I am at camp. But on Saturday, I bought:
· Skirt (really pro looking, and very long. My mum wants to shorten it)
· Shoes (really comfy, and pretty, I like :))
· Pants ( they’re ¾ cuz I couldn’t find the normal ones that I liked in my size :P).

Papers – Meant to fill them out before Monday, but they haven’t been organised, so my mum/sister can go fill tem out on Monday when I’m at camp, and then they’ll get my signature on Thursday.

++ I CAN go to madd night!! :) Cuz that was meant to be my induction, but then it was moved to this Thursday so ALL IS GOOD. :)
