Woke up reasonably early, had a shower, had a nice breakfast and packed up all our crap. Suitcase is unfortunately getting heavier (too many souvenirs. Jokes, I just bought a jacket) and the weight will begin to be an issue in around Vennice. Woo hoo.
We left our suitcases at reception and went in search of starbucks. Which we found! It made me so happy to have my mocha blanc frappuccino for the first time in weeks. Then we went on an almighty walk to the beach which was completely crowded, partially with topless women which is always interesting… We sat on the beach and a drink and admired the waves and realised that Sydney is better… And then we walked all the way back home.
Along the way we stopped at the Sports Bar we had dinner at a couple of nights ago and had BBQ ribs and paella again, last meal in Spain. We also watched the end of the Tour de France which was anticlimactic…
We went back to our hotel, got our luggage, and caught a taxi to the airport, where we chilled out for hours doing stuff all before our plane decided to leave 25minutes late but I fully got to see the sunset over the horizon so that was gorgeous.
Eventually, we arrived in Nice and oh my gosh it is so beautiful. Everything is luxurious and big and beachy and we’re right next door to two casinos. (Plus, when we got the airport, there was a guy there with our name on a sign so now we’re those people and I can cross that off my bucket list.) But everyone speaks French and I was just getting used to Spanish and Catalan :(
Anyway, we had a quick meals at maccas and then looked at the beach for a second (it has rocks instead of sand, weird) before walking home and going to bed. Glorious bed.

Just want to point out your use of "home". You're overseas, not home, home is over here, not there, please correct this for future posts <3
