Woke up, went to breakfast, got ready and hit the shops. Venetians have completely amazing masks and we spent hours looking at them. They also have really special glass that they sculpt amazingly into heaps of shapes so we looked at those too. We made our way up to the Rialto bridge and looked down the grand canal and then found a nice spot on the water to eat lunch.
After lunch we walked back to our hotel, stopping to buy a few gifts on the way. We chilled out/slept/facebooked/looked for cars online for a few hours before going out to have a gondola ride. Our driver was the coolest thing ever, he told us all about the canals, and whistled/sang the whole time. He even posed for our stupid photos.
After the ride we went to find somewhere to eat dinner and bought a few more things before going back to our hotel. Looked at a few more cars, made a pro con list, and went to bed.
