Day twenty-five

Woke up terribly late, it was wonderful, showered and got ready to go for a drive up to a castle in Ayegui. It was crazy hot outside, like, 34 degrees, so we kind of roasted as we walked around the castle, then we went to visit Tia Javiera to say goodbye. Karmen’s grandmother, Avelina, also came over in her wheelchair, but her memory is fading, so although she remembered my grandfather, she couldn’t comprehend who we were. Javiera, however, just kept hugging Nikki and I and saying how much she wanted to keep us, which was kind of adorable :)
After that we had a quick lunch and then headed back to Pamplona to do some tourist shopping. Which, for me, meant eating ice cream and bitching about Nikki buying a dress that totalled 60cm in length, the bottom 20cm of which had enough holes in it to be see through.
Anyway, whatever, after that we went to Eli’s parents’ house for dinner and watched the basketball (Spain vs. Australia) and felt severely conflicted about who to cheer for haha. Then we came home and I facebooked for forever and then fell asleep eventually.
