MY PEOPLE

i miss my people
its like, we're all there, but we're not us anymore
at least we all sit togather again, so thats a start, right?
but i wanna be able to talk to them like i used to, i wanna know when theyre upset, and when theyre happy, and why! its like, they all have other friends theyd prefer to talk to, they have all these inside jokes with people in their classes, and i wanna be in their class again, so someone will be able to say something like 'creaming soda' or 'osmond cheese' and well all burst out laughing, just how we used to, now we all say 'my class ppl would get that'.
WELL I DONT WANT YOUR CLASS PEOPLE TO GET IT, i want everyone else sitting around this table to get it, so YOU GO TALK TO YOUR CLASS PEOPLE if you want them to get it
its like, theyre right next to me and i miss them sooo much, cuz i know well never have what we used to, when the rest of our world could fall apart, but wed still be able to talk about it, and even if no one else got it, wed be able to say how we felt, we wouldnt have to wait for an opportunity to say it, bcuz we felt comfortable around each other
now we all seem to be losing touch, with everyone, not just each other, so we put all this energy into saving our other friendships, instead of realising that we have to save ourselve, bcuz no one is ready to admit that weve changed.
and bcuz we are all such amazingly fabulous people, everyone else in our classes always talks to us, ask for our advice, hang around us in general, and we cant just reject them, so we're there for them, even though last year we would have been with our group.
i wanna be in O. they have this cool connection, i dont think im really proper friends with a single person in my class, maybe corinne, but the rest like, just put up with me. O loves each other, they spend all their time together, even lunch and recesses, i want that sort of friend.
